Vakarė Petroliūnaitė is a luminous soprano known for her “sparkling tone,” “wonderful sensitivity,” and the ability to make just about anything sound beautiful. Her repertoire spans centuries, from Hildegard and Bach to the present day. A member of the Resonance family, Vakarė brings that same artistry to our stage and to stages throughout Portland’s early and contemporary music scene.

She is also one of the original stars of our long-running Dirty, Stupid Music cabaret, where she has demonstrated that impeccable musicianship and questionable choices can, in fact, coexist.

For Brunch & Bad Choices, Vakarė will be putting all that impeccable musicianship to very good use. Or possibly very bad use.
