David Saffert | Featured Artist

David is a classically-trained pianist from Wisconsin. He has played piano locally for the Oregon Symphony, Portland Opera, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Resonance Ensemble, Anonymous Theatre, and has been featured on All Classical Portland radio’s popular series, “Thursdays at Three.” He has been seen on stage in sketch comedy, improv, solo piano concerts, and in his very own music & comedy variety shows (including his incredible duo tribute act, Liberace and Liza). Outside of Portland, David’s piano credits also involve work with the Guthrie Theater (MN), the Interlochen Arts Camp (MI), Feinstein’s at the Nikko (CA), Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael (IN), eSPACE King Edward (Calgary, AB), The Underground (MN), Broadway Rose Theatre/CoHo Theatre/Tony Starlight’s Showroom (OR), Portland talk show Late Night Action w/ Alex Falcone, OPB's Think Out Loud, and on All Classical Portland radio's live broadcasts of Thursday's @ 3. He appeared as the featured guest on two Under the Vegas Sun television episodes which were filmed at the Liberace Mansion in Las Vegas. As an actor, David has been nominated for a PAMTA and Broadway World’s “Performer of the Decade” for his performance in Murder for Two at Broadway Rose Theatre.
