Claire Forstman is a music director, pianist, and vocal coach whose musical life spans opera, choral music, musical theater, and whatever else requires someone who can make a room full of singers sound fabulous. A sought-after collaborator throughout the Pacific Northwest, Claire has worked with Seattle Opera, Portland Opera, OperaBend, OrpheusPDX, Renegade Opera, Vashon Opera, Ping & Woof Opera, Oregon Bach Festival, and us.

She’s also no stranger to our stage, having performed with us many times in programs that demand both musical precision and serious versatility. Claire recently completed two seasons as a Resident Artist with Portland Opera and brings that same artistry and flexibility to everything she does.
