I am immensely honored to be a part of bringing An African American Requiem to the stage. During times like these we often wonder, “What can I do?” To be given the opportunity to bring awareness to these crimes and the suffering of my people while using my gift is something I deeply treasure.

And while the project has been postponed, I am in eager anticipation for the day that it will be presented. “Delay is not denial." Audiences will experience this piece and it will have a hand in changing the world.
