Being a part of An African American Requiem  is a unique privilege and honor. The project is stretching all my abilities when it comes to singing. I've never sung in Latin but, as I am rehearsing and listening to the music, I have vivid memories of me mimicking various performers such as Pavarotti from television growing up. Being part of AAR is a great introduction for me. Again I'm honored.

I am saddened that the concert is delayed and I truly understand. However, it gives me more time to prepare to give my best. I'm excited and looking forward to the performance, when the various voices, musicians and our spirits all connect to make this happen.
